SOLO SESSIONS START AT $300*
*excluding travel expenses
a Venmo deposit of 50% of the total package price is required to reserve the date/time of your session
Which package should I choose?
Decisions decisions! If you’re looking to receive some fresh new photos for your Instagram, website, or even dating apps (hehe), I would go with the Standard Portrait Session ($300).
If you’re an artist, musician, entertainer, or someone in need of a lot of content, I highly recommend the Premium Portrait Session ($475). This package is my best value! It includes a two-hour shoot, four wardrobe looks, and four retouched images.
If you’re an actor who needs new headshots, or if you’re a business professional looking to update your website’s “About Me” pic or LinkedIn profile, I have three types of headshot packages available- the Mini Headshot Session ($300), Standard Headshot Session ($400), or Premium Headshot Session ($575). I’ll only be photographing you from the chest-up (no full-body pics here)! Actors will receive their final retouched headshots in industry-standard format (white border and stage name in the bottom center).
If you’re someone who fits more than one of these categories, it could be most beneficial for you to do the Portrait/Headshot Combo Session ($600). These sessions usually last two hours, or even longer, but they are extremely convenient since the portrait/headshot combo is literally two shoots in one, and offers the most photos with unlimited wardrobe looks! Be sure to bring plenty of water, a snack, extra makeup, outfits, etc.
WHERE WILL WE SHOOT?
My photography studio is located in breezy, beautiful Pacific Beach. This space gets a ton of natural light during the late morning/early afternoon, so it is PERFECT for headshots or natural light portraits! If you need more flexibility with location, my go-to spots for outdoor headshots in San Diego are Solana Beach (Cedros District), Carlsbad Village, Little Italy, Old Town, and Old Poway Park. For portraits, aside from my studio, I can recommend several great locations. Let me know what vibe you’re going for and we can decide on the location together.
If you’d like to shoot in Orange County, Los Angeles, or anywhere outside of Southern CA, I’m so down! Just let me know where and I can give you a travel estimate. For shoots outside San Diego County, a Venmo deposit for 50% of the total package price must be made at least 1 week in advance.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
For headshot sessions, I tell people to avoid shirts with logos or anything that may distract from the face. Basic, solid-colored clothing is always best! If possible, choose colors that complement or contrast nicely with your skin tone. For hair/makeup, a natural look is usually preferred by casting directors, unless you are trying to emulate a specific character type.
For portrait sessions, I would wear anything with color, textures, layers, and accessories. I love an outfit that’s visually interesting from head to toe! Of course, if you’re going for a more minimalistic approach, there’s no need to overdo it! Simple is always a safe option! 👌🏼 If you’re indecisive, feel free to bring plenty of options! You could also send me pics of your wardrobe choices leading up to our shoot, and I’d be happy to help you choose which outfits I think will photograph best! Ultimately, you should wear whatever looks best on you and makes you feel most confident ☺️
DO I GET TO SELECT THE FINAL IMAGES?
After our shoot, I will send you a large gallery of unedited preview* images. From there, you’ll get to select your top favorites for me to edit and/or retouch. These images will be available for download within 2-4 weeks of making your selections.
*Preview images are for your eyes only, not to be shared or downloaded for any reason! Please do not post unedited images online.
CAN I HAVE THE RAW IMAGES?
The short answer is no. Part of my job as a photographer is choosing the most flattering photographs for you to view and make your retouch selections from. The images I don’t send are either repeats, blurry, or out of focus, shots of you blinking or speaking mid-sentence, or ones that I know aren’t my best work.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN “EDITED” AND “RETOUCHED”?
All final images will be “edited.” Each edited image receives special color grading and gets enhanced with fixed white balance, exposure, refined contrast, and clarity.
“Retouched” images are edited images that have a more perfected “flawless” look. Basic retouching includes clearing skin, reducing skin redness, getting rid of flyways and single strands of hair in the face, and other obvious blemishes. Don’t worry, all of the retouching I do will look as natural as possible! I’m not a fan of that super smooth, fake, porcelain doll look.
I do not provide retouching services such as physically altering body parts, clothing, drastically changing makeup, or adding anything that would appear unrealistic.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
You will be able to view, download, and share photos from your session through Pixieset, a beautiful online hi-res photo gallery platform that I’m obsessed with! Downloading your photos is only possible on desktop, which can then be transferred to your mobile device via AirDrop, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. Please do not post screenshots!
WHAT’S YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
My typical turnaround time for final edited and retouched photos is two weeks from the time of making your image selections. If you need your photos available for download ASAP (within seven days after the shoot), no worries! Rush jobs are available at an additional cost of $25 for standard packages and $50 for premium/combo packages. Please let me know if you need a rush job at the time of scheduling your session!
